Job Description:

LaPorte Products is searching for highly motivated responsible team players for full-time employment of Entry-Level personnel as a Sales Representative with motivation to grow.

Summary

• Processing sales orders
• Ability to work in a team oriented office environment
• Organizational skills
• Data Entry
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow sales representatives
• Skill in speaking with customers professionally to attain any missing mandatory information
• Distributing shipping and pricing quotes to customers as necessary

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with inquiries and purchasing
• Familiarity in marine industry/recreation preferred.
• Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets
• Servicing and pursuing commercial accounts
• Assist with customer problem solving
• Self driven to pursue new sales leads
• Understanding of wholesale, retail, and dealer pricing programs

Cultural Environment:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• College degree preferred
• Experience in email correspondence 
• Quickbooks experience preferred
• Comprehensive internet based computer skills
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Dependable for being on time and ready to work with excellent record of attendance
• Applicant must be highly motivated
• Able to work in a team environment
• Non-judgmental
• Willing to be trainable and receive instructions
• Self-directed when warranted
• Professional Customer Service
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.
• Pass a background check

• We offer competitive pay (depending on experience).
• Family friendly work schedule. Monday - Thursday 7 am to 4 pm and Friday 7 am to 1 pm.
