T-Top Boat Cover Warranty and Service Breakdown

We know that you and your investment deserve the best, which is why our products are made from only the highest quality material and are handcrafted with the utmost care. Before your order leaves our facility and makes it’s way to your door, it goes through several thorough inspection processes to ensure no errors slip through the cracks. This is why we take our quality assurance policy very seriously and hold both ourselves and our products to a high standard of excellence; if your LaPorte Product ever fails to live up to that standard, we have a range of warranty policies in place to cover you.

Fabric Warranty:

Your fabric warranty is based off of the fabric you choose when placing your order.

    • 9 oz. fabric – 5-year warranty: Black and Navy
      • 4 -year warranty: Grey
    • 8 oz. fabric – 4-year warranty: Black & Navy

Materials and Workmanship Warranty:

We will repair or replace any products found to be defective in materials and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date.

Workmanship is defined as: all aspects of the construction leading to the final product.

Materials is defined as: any webbing, thread, binding, buckles, zippers, grommets, poles,
rope, logos, tags, pull tabs, straps, rubber, Velcro or any other item(s) utilized in the
construction of the final product excluding fabric (see above).

Warranty Exclusions:

The following is excluded under the LaPorte’s Products, Inc. Warranty:

  • Improper Use
  • Accident or Negligence
  • Unauthorized Modifications or Changes
  • Improper Care or Maintenance
  • Mold or Mildew
  • Orders Placed Incorrectly
  • Theft or Loss
  • Acts of God

How We Can Help

If your product has any issue that falls within these categories, here’s what to do:

  • Email support@laporteproducts.com with the completed Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form and
    detailed photos of your product’s issue. (The RMA Form will detail picture angles that are needed.)
  • Once your initial email is received, our support team will provide you with a return shipping label and an RMA number.
    • If you are a warranty customer and within 3 months of the original purchase date, LaPorte Products
      will happily cover the shipping fee.
    • If you are not within the return period or your issue is not covered under the warranty (negligence or acts of God, for example), the shipping fee will be added to the repair cost.
  • Once you receive your return shipping label, the label will be valid for 30 days. (Note: The RMA number must be listed on the outside of the package for our shipping and receiving department to accept. Shipments received without the proper authorization may be subject to refused delivery.)
  • When your returned product arrives at our facility, our Support team will inspect and ensure that the issue falls under our warranty guidelines (see above). If it does, our team will happily correct the issue and have it shipped back to you as soon as possible. If not, our Support Team will be in touch about the proper next steps.
  • The standard turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. Please note, depending on the issue there may be additional time needed to for proper correction.
