Job Description:

LaPorte Products is searching for a highly motivated, responsible team player for full-time employment in the Entry-Level Supply Chain and Shipping/Receiving position.

Summary:

Tasks, Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications include the following but not limited to:

• Handle communication and negotiations with suppliers.
• Understanding of procedural best practices in supply chain management.
• Communicate with other departments to close operational gaps.
• Inspect and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, recording them, and delivering them to their proper place in the company.
• Maintain the company stock through organizing, cleaning, and categorizing items on a regular basis. 
• Keep files of goods shipped and received to report to the manager.
• Assuring no damaged items are sent or received.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
